Everything flows, said Heraclitus. We borrowed the line because it describes how this club works: nothing stays the way it was, and that is a good thing. Chartered on 11 October 2006, mixed from the start, the youngest of the Heidelberg Rotary clubs.

Why we are called Neckar
Our club meeting is held every Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Our club venue is the restaurant Cantinaccia at the Helmstätter Herrenhaus in Heidelberg.

That is why the river, the Neckar, is our symbol and why we carry its name. The Rotary Club Heidelberg-Neckar is the youngest of the Heidelberg Rotary clubs. We were chartered as a mixed club on 11 October 2006. We, the friends of this club, shape it ourselves: we help, we roll up our sleeves and of course we enjoy celebrating together.
