New members do join Rotary on the proposal of an existing member, that is true. The reason is not exclusivity but that a club only works if the people get along. In practice: you come as a guest, you get to know us, we get to know you. Anyone standing in the OBDACH garden with a spade is already halfway in.
Time: one Wednesday evening, plus the activities you want to join. Nobody keeps an attendance list.
Money: an annual fee of 000 euros that funds the club and its projects, plus the dinners at club meetings. Ask us before you decide, we will tell you openly.
Every Wednesday at 7:30 pm. Our venue is the restaurant Cantinaccia at the Helmstätter Herrenhaus in Heidelberg.
We were chartered as a mixed club on 11 October 2006, which makes us the youngest of the Heidelberg Rotary clubs.

Through a club visit and by getting to know each other at a joint activity. There is no form and no application, there are a few evenings and a conversation.
No. Rotary traditionally covers a spread of professions so that different perspectives meet in the club. If you come from a field we do not yet cover, you are especially welcome.
